About Us

What to expect on your First Thai Bodywork Therapy Session

At Touch of Thai Day Spa, we are committed to ensuring you enjoy a caring and healing experience provided by a professional yoga & Thai Bodywork therapist every time you visit. If you’ve never visited Touch of Thai Day Spa we thought it would be helpful for you to know what to expect on your first visit.

Meet & Greet

Once you arrive at Touch of Thai Day Spa, our front desk will greet you and ask you to fill out a Client Intake Form. The Client Intake Form is where you record any medical history, past/present injuries and other physical conditions we should be made aware of. Your therapist will inquire about the reason(s) you are coming for a Thai Bodywork, your current physical condition and any specific areas in which you are experiencing pain or would like addressed during your session.

The Treatment Room

Your therapist will take to a peaceful, treatment room where a comfortable table dressed with crisp, clean sheets awaits. A small shelf for your personal belongings. Your therapist will leave the room and wait outside while you disrobe to your level of comfort. Some clients prefer to completely disrobe, while some will remain partially clothed. Once disrobed, you will lie on the table, under the top sheet. Your therapist will give you a few minutes for this process and will knock on the door to ask if you are ready before entering your room. You will always be draped with the top sheet during your session and an additional blanket is available at your request. Your therapist will only uncover the part of the body they are working on, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times.

Your Needs First

Before beginning the session, your therapist will ask you to alert them if, at any time during the session, a technique or stroke they are using is uncomfortable. Depending on your specific needs or requests, your therapist will either perform a customized full-body Thai Bodywork (for general relaxation and stress reduction) or focus on the specific parts of your body that you have requested. Therapeutic Thai Bodywork uses only the highest quality hypo-allergenic creams and organic coconut oil during your treatment.

To Paradise and Back

Once your therapy session is completed, your therapist will leave the room so you may re-dress. Your therapist will wait outside the room for you, and then take you back to the front area.

Our therapy sessions are one hour in length. This time includes a 5 minutes pre-interview, 60 minutes of hands-on time and 5 minutes at the end for you to re-dress.We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.

At Touch of Thai Day Spa, you will never be pressured by our staff to purchase a membership or package. Imagine: you have just had a relaxing, and now a pushy salesperson asks you to buy an annual membership. Doesn’t that just ruin your relaxation experience?
Our friendly staff will respect your post-sessions relaxation period. We do sell packages for groups and individuals. Just ask any of our staff for more information. What you won’t get is an unsolicited sales pitch.
